The 17th Sri Lanka Festival 2025 is set to bring the vibrant flavors, traditions, and culture of Sri Lanka to Yoyogi Park in Tokyo on August 2 and 3. This annual summer event features a rich lineup of Sri Lankan food booths including flavorful curries, traditional sweets, and world-famous Ceylon tea. Live stage performances will showcase traditional dance and music, while market stalls offer handmade crafts and ethnic goods. Visitors will feel as if they’ve traveled to Sri Lanka, right in the heart of Tokyo. Perfect for families, tourists, and anyone interested in international culture, this festival offers a lively space for cross-cultural exchange and sensory discovery.

LOVE FOR NOTO Song of the Earth 2025

LOVE FOR NOTO Song of the Earth 2025 is a heartfelt charity event organized by LOVE FOR NIPPON to support the earthquake recovery efforts in Noto. Held at Yoyogi Park’s Event Plaza over two days, the event features moving live performances from artists connected to the region, creating a space to share messages of hope through music. As night falls, CANDLE JUNE hosts a magical candle night where visitors can join by writing messages on candle cups. The event also includes a market with local Noto products, food trucks, hands-on workshops, a basketball exhibition match, and inspiring talks by support organizations. Come eat, shop, listen, and be part of rebuilding Noto through this warm and inclusive gathering.

This year’s event commemorates the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Brazil, and promises a weekend full of energy and celebration. Visitors can enjoy passionate samba and Latin live performances, authentic Brazilian and Latin American food, and a bustling market with cultural goods. With free admission and a program filled with music, dance, and culinary delights, it’s the perfect summer event to experience the spirit of Latin culture in the heart of Tokyo.

Vietnam Festival 2025

Vietnam Festival 2025 is one of the largest cultural exchange events in Japan, celebrating the deep ties between Vietnam and Japan. Held at the Yoyogi Park Event Plaza, this vibrant festival features over 130 booths offering authentic Vietnamese cuisine such as pho and banh mi, as well as traditional crafts and drinks. Visitors can also enjoy an enchanting lantern street, the mesmerizing water puppet theater, and exciting live performances by top Vietnamese artists. Officially recognized by the Vietnamese government, this is a rare opportunity to experience Vietnam’s rich culture without leaving Tokyo.
