MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL Annex

MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL Annex is an outdoor art project held at Yoyogi Park Panorama Plaza. Artists Dan Isomura, Shota Yamauchi and Shu Yonezawa will present works within the public space of the park, creating opportunities for visitors and passersby to encounter art as part of everyday life. The project reinterprets “Emerging Signs,” the annual theme of MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2026, through the setting of Yoyogi Park.

Event Highlights

Dan Isomura will present the new video work “STARS,” featuring images of people holding sparklers, playing and dancing as their figures overlap and gradually transform into a constellation-like field of light. Shota Yamauchi will present “In Between… Us?,” an installation that responds to surrounding sounds, voices, environmental changes, and visitors’ voices and movements.

Shu Yonezawa will present the new work “Anima/Fossile,” a large-scale mural featuring impressions and cavities that evoke traces of bodies and memories. The work changes in appearance between day and night as light illuminates the depths of the wall.

PEACE DAY 2026 @ Yoyogi Park

PEACE DAY 2026 @ Yoyogi Park will be held at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza on September 21, International Day of Peace. The event will feature live music, Candle Night and booths presented by organizations working on peace-related issues.

Event Highlights

During the day, visitors can make candles and write messages of peace on them in the Message Candle Workshop. After sunset, the candles will be lit together as part of Candle Night, directed by CANDLE JUNE.

The stage lineup includes May J., Tarumi Violinists, Tetra Band & Friends, as well as Za SAVAGE and Kaiharu Bro through a collaboration with ZERO FES. The booth area will feature 16 organizations working on issues including nuclear disarmament, refugee support, landmines, child soldiers and the environment, with products, workshops and participatory programs.

Fiesta de España 2026

Fiesta de España 2026 is a festival bringing together Spanish food, music, flamenco and culture at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo. The event began in 2013 to commemorate exchange between Japan and Spain.

Event Highlights

The venue will feature large-pan paella and a Sevillanas contest. Visitors can also experience Spanish food, culture and music, with vendor booths set up throughout the event.

Tokyo Night Market

Tokyo Night Market will be held at Yoyogi Park Keyaki Namiki from October 21 (Wed) to 25 (Sun), 2026. The night event brings together food, market stalls, live music, DJs and street performances. It starts at 16:00 on weekdays and 14:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and runs until 22:00 each day.

Event Highlights

More than 50 vendors will take part, offering burgers, tacos, Asian street food, Brazilian cuisine and other dishes. Clothing and miscellaneous goods will also be sold, alongside hands-on booths such as nail services and jagua tattoos, as well as traditional festival-style activities.

The live stage will feature bands, idols and other artists, with DJ programs also planned. Eco stations for waste separation will be set up at the venue, and reusable cups will be used for drinks.

China Festival 2026

China Festival 2026 is a Japan-China cultural exchange event introducing contemporary Chinese food culture, music and tourism. Held over two days at Yoyogi Park, the 2026 event is themed around cultural exchange between Japan and China and discovering China today.

Event Highlights

Food booths will serve dishes from different regions of China, including mapo tofu, xiaolongbao, dumplings and hot pot-style dishes. A special program focusing on malatang will also be featured.

The stage program includes traditional instruments, singing, dance and C-POP. Visitors can also experience Chinese tea, Hanfu, calligraphy and crafts, along with panda-themed photo spots and information about tourism in China.

Thai Fair in Tokyo 2026

Thai Fair in Tokyo 2026 is a cultural event introducing Thai traditional performing arts, food and goods. The program includes Thai dance, the traditional masked performance “Khon,” Thai music, Muay Thai and Thai traditional massage. Authentic Thai food and Thai goods will also be available at the venue. Admission is free, and the event will be held rain or shine.

Event Highlights

On August 16, a commemorative Thai dance performance by 139 dancers will be held in honor of the achievements of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. “Asian Smiles” will also feature dance performances by groups from six countries and regions, including Thailand, Japan and Taiwan.

The 6th Latin America Festival is a free-admission event held at Yoyogi Park Keyaki Namiki on July 18 (Sat) and 19 (Sun), 2026. Based on the concept of bringing more energy and smiles to Japan through Latin music, the festival features live music, Latin American food and a market area.

Event Highlights

The stage program includes dance time, live music and performances featuring Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia and Reggaeton. Performers include Latin Samurai, Los Kalibres and Son Reinas, with Splash Time also planned.

The venue includes a Kitchen Car Area and a Market Area. Visitors can enjoy Latin American food, apparel, accessories and other market items.

Shibuya Street Live at GMO渋谷エンタメ祭2026 is a music event held at Yoyogi Park during GMO渋谷エンタメ祭2026. The event features indie artists performing across four venues in the park, creating opportunities for visitors to encounter new music in an open-air setting.

イベント内容のポイント

A total of 39 indie artists will appear over two days at Yoyogi Park. Performances take place at BE STAGE, the Keyaki Namiki tent booth on the Shibuya side, the Keyaki Namiki tent booth on the Harajuku side, and the outdoor stage.

The lineup includes Beverly at the outdoor stage, as well as Cafune, RIKU, Kaion, Noda Emi and other artists active through street performances, live events and online platforms.
