Shibuya StreetDance Week 2026 takes place at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo on Monday, November 23, 2026. The festival celebrates street dance culture through live performances, dance competitions, battles and interactive workshops. From experienced dancers to children discovering dance for the first time, the event brings together a wide range of styles and participants.

Event Highlights

DANCE WITH music features session-style performances accompanied by live musicians, while RAINBOW STAGE showcases dancers and groups representing a variety of styles. The program also includes SSDW CONTEST, a competition for high school dance teams, and BATTLE PARK, where dancers compete through improvisation and individual expression.

CHILL OUT SPACE offers workshops and DJ sessions, while BREAKING AREA features breaking battles and cyphers. The KIDS AREA gives younger dancers opportunities to experience street dance culture through studio battles, workshops and other activities.

The 4th TOKYO Women and Children’s Festival will take place at Yoyogi Park’s Keyaki Avenue in Tokyo on November 21 and 22, 2026. The festival aims to help create a supportive environment for raising children and to promote children’s healthy development. It provides information about child development, play and parenting, while also encouraging discussions about women’s health and participation in society.

OKINAWA FES Milafete

OKINAWA FES Milafete returns to Yoyogi Park in Tokyo on May 8 and 9, 2027. This free outdoor festival celebrates Okinawan music, traditional performing arts, food, local products and culture. Under the theme REAL OKINAWA, visitors can experience different sides of Okinawa in the heart of Tokyo. The 2026 event at Yoyogi Park attracted approximately 300,000 visitors over two days.

Event Highlights

The 2027 edition introduces a refreshed event logo and key visual, with a new visual concept called Peeking Into Okinawa (沖縄をのぞく). Inspired by Okinawa’s landscapes and natural beauty, the design invites visitors to discover more of the islands beyond their familiar images.

The festival will feature live performances by artists connected to Okinawa, traditional entertainment, Okinawan food, local specialties and cultural experiences. Food, merchandise and activity booths are also planned. Specific performers and participating vendors will be announced separately.

J-WAVE presents INSPIRE TOKYO 2026 WINTER supported Gran Turismo is a three-day festival bringing together music, food, fashion and art in Shibuya, Tokyo. Held at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza and LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, the event features free outdoor concerts, a market with shops and food trucks, and special performances at the concert hall. Shibuya City Kitaya Park also joins as a satellite venue for art installations.

Event Highlights

Free live performances at Yoyogi Park’s PARK STAGE will feature luvis, さらさ and スーパー登山部 on Saturday, December 5, followed by the Po, Rol3ert and 天々高々 on Sunday, December 6. The outdoor market will bring together shops and food trucks.

At LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, the program includes BESSHOW TIME 2026 The RADIO SHOW ～Music Journey～ on December 4 and THE UNIVERSE LIVE Vol.1, featuring Taeko Onuki and Ohashi Trio, on December 5. Meanwhile, the satellite venue at Shibuya City Kitaya Park will display two artworks associated with ARTE TOKYO: FORTUNE FRIENDS by Melissa Mathieson and Resonant Field at Kitaya Park: Afterglow by Paysages Studio.

ACN presents Yoyogi Forest of Lights

ACN presents Yoyogi Forest of Lights is an immersive winter illumination event taking place at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo. Inspired by the winter forests of Europe, the event invites visitors to walk through approximately 1.8 km of illuminated woodland, surrounded by imaginative displays of light and sound.

Event Highlights

The walking route features 17 themed light zones, including Singing Tree, where the illumination changes with music; Floral Fantasia, a garden-inspired light installation; and Chestnut Agrow, where green laser lights transform the trees. Other installations combine colorful lighting, music and atmospheric effects to create different experiences throughout the forest.

A food and drink area will also feature food trucks and stalls offering warm dishes, sweets and beverages. The event is supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and forms part of the Yoyogi–Shibuya area highlights of ARTE TOKYO.

Philippine Festival Tokyo 2026

Philippine Festival Tokyo 2026 takes place on Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo. The two-day festival brings together Filipino cuisine, music, cultural performances and entertainment, offering visitors a chance to experience the traditions and culture of the Philippines.

The festival also takes place in a special year marking the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Japan. Admission is free.

Event Highlights

Visitors can explore Filipino food stalls, enjoy live music and cultural performances, and discover a variety of booths at Yoyogi Park’s Event Plaza and Outdoor Stage. The festival brings together the Filipino community in Japan and visitors interested in Philippine culture, food and entertainment.

Filipino P-pop group VXON is also confirmed to perform at the festival, marking the group’s first live performance in Japan. The five-member group will perform songs including its first Japanese-language single, “KNT (君の特別) Kimi no Tokubetsu.”

SANTA PARADE TOKYO2026

SANTA PARADE TOKYO2026 takes place on Sunday, November 15, at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza in Tokyo. This Christmas-themed charity event invites participants to dress as Santa Claus and enjoy a festive run or walk while supporting children facing serious illnesses in Japan and children living in poverty overseas.

Under the theme “Share Our X’mas – The Day Everyone Can Be a Real Santa,” the event brings people together to celebrate Christmas while helping children in need.

Event Highlights

The charity event supports efforts to deliver Christmas gifts to children staying in hospitals across Japan. Donations for the 2026 event will also support a nutrition improvement program for Indigenous children in the Philippines through Free the Children Japan.

Participants can join in Santa Claus costumes, with outfits available through event tickets or the option to wear their own Christmas-themed clothing. Fiesta de España 2026 will also take place alongside the event at Yoyogi Park.

JAZZ FESTIVAL in Yoyogi park 2026

JAZZ FESTIVAL in Yoyogi park 2026 takes place on Tuesday, November 3, at Central Plaza in Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park. The free outdoor event features five jazz performances by the Eri Yazaki Trio and Yusuke Shima’s “Meikyoku wo Fuku” Duo. Visitors can enjoy live music on the grass, with no advance booking required.

Event Highlights

Five jazz sets are scheduled throughout the day, beginning at 11:10 a.m., noon, 12:50 p.m., 1:40 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Each performance is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. The Eri Yazaki Trio will perform original songs and jazz standards, while Yusuke Shima’s duo will present film music and jazz classics.

A photo exhibition, “Yoyogi Park Through the Years,” will feature historical images, including a bird’s-eye view from 1921. Family-friendly activities, including Park Festa and Asobi Expo, will also take place in the park. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic mat, as the concert viewing area is on the grass. The event will be cancelled in severe weather.

Tokyo Snow Festival SNOWBANK PAY IT FORWARD 2026

Tokyo Snow Festival SNOWBANK PAY IT FORWARD 2026 takes place at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo, on Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, 2026. Now in its 16th edition, the free two-day festival combines snowboarding competitions, live music and snow activities with a mission to raise awareness of blood donation and bone marrow donor registration.

Event Highlights

One of the festival’s main attractions is the snowboard jib battle, where professional riders and rising amateur competitors demonstrate their skills on a specially prepared snow course in the middle of Tokyo. Visitors can also enjoy snow activities and live performances at the outdoor stage. On October 31, the music lineup features Kiriharebare, STRAWDAY and AIK. On November 1, Momoiro Dorothy, LOW IQ 01 & ANOTHER BEAT BREAKER, and DAZEBAND will perform.

Beyond the entertainment, SNOWBANK promotes blood donation and bone marrow donor registration. The festival aims to welcome 400 blood donors and 100 bone marrow donor registrations through its special booths. Visitors who participate in these activities can receive gifts, while those who visit all designated booths have a chance to enter a prize drawing.

MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL Annex

MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL Annex is an outdoor art project held at Yoyogi Park Panorama Plaza. Artists Dan Isomura, Shota Yamauchi and Shu Yonezawa will present works within the public space of the park, creating opportunities for visitors and passersby to encounter art as part of everyday life. The project reinterprets “Emerging Signs,” the annual theme of MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2026, through the setting of Yoyogi Park.

Event Highlights

Dan Isomura will present the new video work “STARS,” featuring images of people holding sparklers, playing and dancing as their figures overlap and gradually transform into a constellation-like field of light. Shota Yamauchi will present “In Between… Us?,” an installation that responds to surrounding sounds, voices, environmental changes, and visitors’ voices and movements.

Shu Yonezawa will present the new work “Anima/Fossile,” a large-scale mural featuring impressions and cavities that evoke traces of bodies and memories. The work changes in appearance between day and night as light illuminates the depths of the wall.
